Team

Our team members, located across Europe, work closely with our mother and sister organisations and with local partners around the world in interpreting economic, capital market and real estate conditions globally to guide investment decisions and to identify future opportunities.     Léon Muller

  • Head of Research: Léon Muller heads the Strategy & Research Team and is active in the investment management industry since 1998. Prior to joining Bouwfonds, Mr. Muller worked with PGGM, the Dutch Pension Fund for healthcare and social welfare. Prior to joining PGGM, he worked with ING Real Estate Development. Mr. Muller has experience in constructing and managing portfolios (listed and private), providing due diligence (companies and managers) and managing external mandates (active and passive). Mr. Muller holds a Bachelor of Education degree in geography and tourism. He earned his doctoral degree in economic geography from Utrecht University, as well as, a postgraduate Master in Finance from TIAS Business School. He published several articles.

    Gökhan Aydinli

  • Head of Research Germany: Gökhan Aydinli. Prior to joining Bouwfonds Asset Management, Gökhan was Vice President at Arsago Alternative Capital Management GmbH, Frankfurt, an investment boutique which invested approx. € 700m since 2004 in German Residential Real Estate. Before that, Gökhan was Senior Real Estate Financial Analyst at Hudson Advisors Germany GmbH. His work focused on the structuring and execution of package transactions of German residential real estate. After finishing his studies Gökhan worked as Research Associate at the Institute for Statistics and Econometrics at Humboldt-Universität (Berlin). Gökhan holds master degrees in Economics and Statistics.

    Jeroen Beimer

  • Research Analyst: Jeroen Beimer is analyst at the Strategy & Research Team, and is active in the real estate industry since 1999. Prior to joining Bouwfonds Asset Management in 2007, Mr. Beimer worked for Global Property Research, owned by merchant bank Kempen & Co, as an analyst and index manager. In his role, he is occupied with market research and strategy, and the development of new products for the institutional market. Mr. Beimer has experience with the listed property sector, and the construction of real estate indices. Mr. Beimer holds a doctoral degree in Economics from Maastricht University. He published several articles.

    Eva Huijgen

  • Senior Research Analyst: Eva Huijgen is analyst at the Strategy & Research Team, and is active in the real estate industry since 1999. Prior to joining Bouwfonds in 2007 she has worked for five years for DTZ Zadelhoff as a market analyst and a redevelopment consultant for the office, industrial and residential market. She has started her professional career as an architect for DKV Architecten in 1999. Mrs. Huijgen is responsible for the research of the residential markets where Bouwfonds Asset Management is active. She takes care of portfolio analyses, general residential research and publications. Mrs. Huijgen holds a Master of Science degree in Architecture from the Technical University of Delft. Part of the curriculum has been completed in an exchange programme in Spain at the ETSAB, Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Mrs. Huijgen participated in several publications.

    Roelfke van de Pol

  • Research Analyst: Roelfke van de Pol is analyst at the Strategy & Research Team, and is active in the real estate industry since 2004. Prior to joining Bouwfonds in 2008 she worked for four years for Buck Consultants International as a consultant business strategy, location and commercial real estate advice for companies, investors and developers. Mrs. van de Pol is responsible for the research of the commercial real estate market where Bouwfonds Asset Management is active. She takes care of portfolio analyses, general market research and publications. Mrs. van de Pol holds a Master of Science degree in International Economics and Economic Geography from the University Utrecht.
